Led by an experienced local guide, this two-hour tour takes you into the snowy forests and gentle terrain at the foot of Kätkä Fell, just outside the village of Levi. Learn how to walk with snowshoes and discover the joy of moving effortlessly across deep snow – no prior experience needed!

As we wander through the serene landscape, we take plenty of breaks to admire the views and enjoy the silence of the Arctic forest. Your guide will share fascinating stories about local wildlife, Arctic plants, and life in the north. Children aged 6 and up are welcome – this is a safe, low-effort activity designed for everyone to enjoy.

Warm up with a hot drink and light snack served during the tour, and take the opportunity to capture some magical photos of Lapland’s snowy beauty.

What do I need to bring?

• Warm winter clothing (insulated jacket and pants or a snowsuit), warm mittens, and sturdy winter shoes.
• Bring a scarf or balaclava to protect your face, and hand/toe warmers if needed.
• Wear enough layers underneath and add more if needed.
• Sunglasses and sunscreen for sunny spring days.
• Warm socks recommended, no cotton, wool is the best.

• We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 14 days or less before the event
• We will charge a cancellation fee of 30% if booking is cancelled 30 days or less before the event
