Follow your expert local guide as you snowshoe through a silent, snow-covered forest, climbing steadily toward the top of Kätkä Fell, which rises majestically beside the sacred Immeljärvi lake. Along the way, your guide will share stories about local culture and legends, and the unique Arctic ecosystem. The route leads through spruce and birch forests to open fell terrain, offering breathtaking panoramic views over Levi, the village of Sirkka, and the surrounding fells.

At the summit, enjoy a well-earned break with hot drinks and a snack while surrounded by the serene beauty of Lapland’s wilderness. The pace is relaxed, with photo stops and plenty of time to enjoy the scenery. On the descent, you can even try creating your own playful paths in the soft snow!

What do I need to bring?

• Warm winter clothing (insulated jacket and pants or a snowsuit), warm mittens, and sturdy winter shoes.
• Bring a scarf or balaclava to protect your face, and hand/toe warmers if needed.
• Wear enough layers underneath and add more if needed.
• Warm socks recommended, no cotton, wool is the best.

Cancellation policy

• We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 14 days or less before the event
• We will charge a cancellation fee of 30% if booking is cancelled 30 days or less before the event
