Step into a world of northern serenity at Sammun Tupa, a traditional family-owned reindeer farm hidden in the peaceful Finnish forest. Here, time seems to slow down, and you can truly feel the harmony between nature, people, and reindeer.

Your visit begins with meeting the friendly reindeer and learning about their lives throughout the seasons. You’ll have the chance to feed these gentle animals and capture heartwarming photos up close — a moment to remember!

Then, settle into a reindeer sleigh for a short but magical one-kilometer ride through the snowy landscape. The sound of the sleigh runners on the snow and the calm pace of the reindeer create a feeling of timeless peace and connection with nature.

After the ride, your host will guide you around the old farm and its cosy home museum, sharing fascinating stories about life as a reindeer herder — both in the past and today. The visit concludes with hot drinks and a home-baked local pastry served in a charming wooden cottage, where the scent of firewood and the warmth of hospitality complete this authentic Lapland experience.

What do I need to bring?

• Warm winter clothing (insulated jacket and pants or a snowsuit), warm mittens, and sturdy winter shoes.
• Bring a scarf or balaclava to protect your face, and hand/toe warmers if needed.
• Wear enough layers underneath and add more if needed.
• Sunglasses and sunscreen for sunny spring days.
• Warm socks recommended, no cotton, wool is the best.

• We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 14 days or less before the event
• We will charge a cancellation fee of 30% if booking is cancelled 30 days or less before the event
